Prospective PhDs with a background in microbiology, plant biology, evolution, ecology, genomics or plant pathology can apply to join when projects are offered through the International Max Planck Research School.

Prior experience in one or more of the following areas is highly valued: microbial evolution, pathogen genomics, genetics and molecular biology, and/or molecular-plant microbe interactions.
